You may not know that we are collecting the "Tools & Tips" columns from the old Order Board so you can have easy access to them. They are available on the "Cajon Division Library" page, which you can find under the "Resources" tab.

MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

Dear Cajon Division Member:

It is my unfortunate responsibility to inform you that in recognition of the potential health hazard to our members, the Cajon Division Board of Directors voted to CANCEL the DESERT RAILS event, scheduled for March 26, 27 & 28 in La Quinta, Ca.

We took this action tonight after considerable discussion and we did not take this action lightly. We realized that it was highly unlikely that the current health situation would be resolved by the end of this month, and in that context, cancelling sooner, rather than later, is the responsible action to take. We hope you understand the necessity of this action.

If you registered early, your payments will be returned to you in the next couple of weeks. And please recognize that your early registration is greatly appreciated, as it is very helpful to us in organizing our events. If you made hotel reservations, don’t forget to cancel those.

We have two upcoming events that you may want to attend:

Boulder City, NV – Saturday, May 9

CIM 3, Irvine Regional Park – June 13 and 14 (Sat/Sunday)

Information on both of these events is in the recently published Order Board and also will be coming your way via email. There is also more information about these events on the events page.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me at: superintendent@cajondivision.org .

     About the Cajon Division

The Cajon Division with its 350 members is the second largest of the four divisions in the Pacific Southwest Region of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) covering Southern California and Southern Nevada. We have been serving modelers and the general public in Southern California for over 40 years. By means of meetings, train shows and special events, our quarterly newsletter, The Order Board, and this web site, we seek to promote the hobby to the public, provide assistance to our members, and support educational opportunities involving modeling and railroading in general. We do this through our own meetings but also through the wonderful resource that must not be forgotten, namely the 100% NMRA Model Railroad Clubs and other Model Railroad clubs in our area.
