Model Railroads of Southern California 44th Layout Tour , August 15, 2015, West Orange County, CA, https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Model_Railroads_Of_Southern_California/info

Model Railroads of Southern California’s forty-fourth layout tour takes place on Saturday, August 15. This will be a self-guided tour of two home layouts in the West Orange County area. This is a free event and you may bring relatives and friends. One layout is Bob Grech’s HO scale Western Pacific. This is a fictional freelanced version of the Western Pacific Railroad modeled between the years 1935-1940. The layout measures 25.5 x 17.5 feet with a 13.5 x 6 foot peninsula, featuring an around-the-room walk-in configuration.Website: http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g300/engineerbob/ The second layout is Joel Morse’s N scale New York, Ontario & Western. The layout loosely models the prototype’s main line up and over the rolling hills surrounding the rural towns of Walton and Sidney, along with the Delhi Branch, and a new connection with the DL&W mainline at (fictional) Shellysburg, NY, in the spring of 1954.

Bob's layout is located in Fountain Valley and will be open from 11am until 6pm. Joel's layout is located in Garden Grove and will be open from 10am until 3pm. For more information and specific location/directions contact Bob Chaparro at chiefbobbb@verizon.net

     About the Cajon Division

The Cajon Division with its 350 members is the second largest of the four divisions in the Pacific Southwest Region of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) covering Southern California and Souther Nevada. We have been serving modelers and the general public in Southern California for over 40 years. By means of meetings, train shows and special events, our quarterly newsletter, The Order Board, and this web site, we seek to promote the hobby to the public, provide assistance to our members, and support educational opportunities involving modeling and railroading in general. We do this through our own meetings but also through the wonderful resource that must not be forgotten, namely the 100% NMRA Model Railroad Clubs and other Model Railroad clubs in our area.
