Our fifty-first layout tour takes place on Saturday, February 25, in the greater Riverside-San Bernardino area. This is the same day as the Roundhouse Gang swap meet* in San Bernardino so you can hit the swap meet first and then visit the layouts. This will be a self-guided tour of nine layouts and garden railroads at seven locations. These include four HO scale layouts, one N scale layout, one O scale, one Z scale and two garden railroads. Three layouts are appearing on the tour program for the first time: Charles Fisher's HO scale Susquehanna & Blue Mountain Railroad in Diamond Bar, Bob & Doug Kearney's O scale Ohio & Southwestern in Moreno Valley and Wayne Knight's HO scale The Great W&D Railroad in Riverside. Cajon Division Spring Temecula Meet/ Event, Temecula, CA, March 31-April 1, 2017 Flyer

The Cajon Division is holding its annual winter meet this year in the usual places in Temecula. Friday night will feature Registration, Refreshments and Bingo for trains at the Mary Phillips Senior Center. Following Saturday morning registration, a host of new clinics will be presented. New this year, the meet will hold a members-only swap meet and an exclusive 2 hour afternoon clinic presented by Jimmy Simmons of Monster Model Works featuring his great weathering and scenery techniques and their extensive set of model building kits and layout scenery products. The contest room will be open for AP evaluations and contest judging and a pizza lunch will be available for extra fare. The annual PSR Board meeting convene Saturday afternoon. Saturday evening at Pat and Oscar's Restaurant will conclude the event with a membership meeting, banquet and Hobo auction.

The Daylight Division of the Pacific Coast Region cordially invites you to attend the Daylight Express 2017 PCR Convention in Bakersfield, California. Plans and preparations are well under way by a dedicated team of PCR volunteers working together to ensure you will have a rewarding and enjoyable experience at the Daylight Express 2017 PCR Convention. The Convention runs from Wednesday, April 19 through Sunday, April 23, 2017. There will be a veritable smorgasbord of model railroading activities you've come to expect at PCR conventions, including clinics, contests, prototype tours, layout tours, operating sessions, breakfasts, banquet, and more!


Pacific Southwest Region "Ontario Manifest Convention" / Ontario, CA Web Site, Flyer

The Pacific Southwest Region of the NMRA will hold its annual Convention in Ontario, California this next September13-16, 2017. The "Ontario Manifest" will feature a complete set of clinics covering all aspects

of model railroading from beginner through advanced scenery, rolling stock, track work, wiring and electronics, etc. as well as interesting non-rail clinics for the family. There will be an outdoor model railroad swap meet, prototype tours, a model railroad model contest and Achievement Program model evaluation session. Several near-by non-rail attractions exist for the off hours between a complete list of open, self-driven private and public layouts available for viewing. A special "Introduction to the Model Railroading Hobby" program will be presented on Saturday featuring a full morning of model railroading details specifically designed to inform anyone potentially interested in the Hobby of the benifits and considerations of model railroading. The Convention will be held in the Radisson Ontario Airport hotel, with a hosted welcome reception at the San Bernardino Railroad Museum. This event is open to everyone interested in model railroading.
