SoCal Module Railroaders (Orange County Module Railroaders)

By building your module to NTRAK specifications, you can use your module with other clubs all over the United States. There are even some groups in other countries who build NTRAK modules. We, as clubs or individuals, often join other modular 'N' Scale clubs, in order to enlarge the layout for special public, or NTRAK conventions.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/CSCOn30

Narrow minded, want to be? Never Done and Always Changing, the California South Coast Modular (CSC) On30 Model Railroad group's mission is to bring the joy of narrow gauge trains to all ages at train shows. On30? On30 means the models are O scale (1:48 running on 32mm gauge track). The 'n' signifies Narrow gauge, 30 means 30 inches or 2.5 feet rail spacing. Many groups in other states and several other California On30 Modular groups build to a common standard that allow us to combine operations when displaying at shows and meets. Currently, CSC frequently operates in conjunction with the California Central Valley Modular and the California Central Coast Modular.

Riverside Live Steamers

http://www.steamonly.org/

Back in the 1950's, Joe Hunter, a well known Riverside industrialist, realized that steam locomotives were disappearing from the railroads that passed through Riverside. Knowing that future generations would not know the excitement of seeing, smelling and hearing the sounds of steam locomotives, he had a vision. Why not duplicate a steam train in miniature? RLS is pleased to offer thousands of people an opportunity to see, hear, and smell what steam locomotion is all about. We like to think Mr. Hunter would be very proud of our accomplishments during the past forty-six years.
